SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT STARTS EXPLORER GROUP

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department is starting an Explorer's Post in an effort to teach high school students about law enforcement and help in its own recruitment.
Detective Don Welch, who is overseeing the project, said the department is looking for energetic, goal-oriented youth who have a serious interest in a law enforcement career.
